We are offering our puppies as companion dogs. We cannot guarantee that any puppy will make a show dog. However, as a special request, we will make every effort to pick a show/breeding quality puppy for you.

Our puppies are registered with America's Pet Registry, INC (APRI). The application will need to be filled out and submitted by the owner along with the correct fee in order to register the puppy in your name. We will provide the necessary paperwork to you within a week to 10 days of your puppies shipment.

Why APRI and not AKC?

The Koedams are registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC). In fact, Koedam Kennels used to use AKC to register all of their puppies. Then the Koedam's discovered APRI. APRI and AKC have nearly identical ethics, rules and regulations.

The Difference?

APRI is the fastest growing dog registration organization in America. It is on track to become larger than AKC thanks to the thousands of breeders nationwide making the switch. APRI is much less expensive for breeders and pet owners. Of course other things were considered when the Koedams switched registration. But in the end, APRI was found to be a better fit for Koedam Kennels.
